Kipinä Nursery is a Finnish-inspired early years nursery in Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi, providing warm, high-quality care and education for children aged 2 months to 4 years. For over a decade, we have welcomed families across Al Bateen and the wider Abu Dhabi community.
Our approach blends the Finnish philosophy of play-based, child-led learning with a strong focus on holistic development. We believe children learn best through exploration, curiosity and joyful, hands-on experiences, guided by caring, experienced teachers.
With a low child-to-teacher ratio, a safe and nurturing environment, and a genuine love for early childhood education, Kipinä is dedicated to giving every child the best possible start in life. Every classroom at Kipinä is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, offering safe, stimulating spaces for both structured learning and open-ended play. Our qualified, passionate teachers create a home-away-from-home atmosphere where children feel secure enough to take risks, ask questions and discover the world around them.
As part of the wider Al Bateen and Abu Dhabi community, we take pride in building lasting relationships with the families we serve. Every milestone, big or small, is celebrated together, because we believe raising confident, curious children is a journey best shared between parents and educators.
Farah has been working with Kipinä since 2017. She has a Certificate in Early Education Leadership from Zaentz Professional Learning Academy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and holds a Bachelors in Business Management.
She has been working in the Early Education field since 2006. During this time, she managed different sized settings in different locations across Abu Dhabi. She has also completed multiple trainings related to Occupational Health and Safety, Pediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Safeguarding.
Farah leads a team of qualified teachers and staff and together manages to provide excellent quality care for all children who have attended Kipinä over the last 5 years.
With 3 children of her own, 2 of whom are proud Kipinä graduates, she states:
